Analysis of the reasons for the fracture of stainless steel screws

Aug 12, 2022|

For the fracture of iron screws, it is very easy to encounter in practical applications. However, the fracture of stainless steel screws is rarely seen, because the material of stainless steel wire itself is relatively hard, so the phenomenon of general fracture of stainless steel screws rarely occurs. However, stainless steel screws can still break under certain circumstances:

1. The stainless steel material is poor. The stainless steel wire used is not of good quality, with impurities and insufficient purity, resulting in the hardness of the stainless steel itself not meeting the requirements.

2. There is a problem with the production process. There are certain problems in the entire production process, such as eccentric head and eccentric, which will reduce the hardness of the finished stainless steel screw.

3. The use and operation of the product are not standardized. If the customer exerts too much force during use, generally, the breaking force can be tested before use, and the torque adjustment can be performed.
