"Gear-slide" : Drawer slides with gears, such as concealed undermount slide and double wall drawer, are for high and medium end market. With gear structure, it performs superb smooth and synchronized movements.It also has soft closing and effortless opening as well as push to open function. They are mainly used on the high and medium end furniture. As the price is comparatively higher, it is not commonly used on the household furniture, unlike ball bearing slides, they are more popular. Roller slides: It was started to use since many years that was the first generation of drawer slides. Nowadays, they have been replacing by the ball bearing slides over time. The structure of roller slides is very simple, it composes of two guiding ridges and a roller that can achieve push and pull performance of a drawer but the loading capacity is comparatively lower, also without any damping nor push-to-open function. It is normally used on the general furniture with low loading weight such as keyboard drawer and light weight drawer. 

Ball bearing slide: It has two-fold (partial extension) and three-fold (full extension). Normally, it can be seen as they are side-mounted on the drawer side, with simple installation and less installation space. With high quality ball bearing slide, it can ensure smooth movements and heavy loading capacity, as well as soft closing and push-to-open functions.
