How to prevent stainless steel fasteners from locking up?

1. Correct product selection

1) Before use, confirm whether the mechanical properties of the product meet the requirements of use (such as the tensile strength of the bolt and the safe load of the nut);

2) The length of the bolt should be selected appropriately, subject to 1-2 pitches of the nut exposed after tightening;

3) It is recommended to use an anti-locking nut for occasions with high occurrence of locking.

2. Reduce the coefficient of friction

1) Keep the threads clean, in order to ensure the smooth cooperation of the screws and nuts, it is recommended to pack the product in a clean container and do not place it arbitrarily;

2) It is recommended to add lubricant before use.

3. Correct use of stainless steel fasteners

In order to reduce the occurrence of deadlock, it is recommended to do the following correctly:

1) When tightening, it should be noted that the direction of force applied by the wrench should coincide with the axis of the screw, and do not tilt;

2) During the tightening process, the force should not exceed the safe torque and should be uniform, and try to use a torque wrench or a socket for use;

3) If the locking speed is too fast, it will lead to deadlock. It is recommended not to use an electric or pneumatic wrench;

4) It must be cooled when used in a high temperature state, and do not rotate quickly during use, so as to prevent the temperature from rising rapidly and causing locking (such as: electric wrench, etc.).
