Analysis of small skills of metal stamping knowledge
Nov 18, 2022| There are many tricks in metal stamping. Not only is it a major measure to reduce manufacturing costs, but it can also eliminate some very large losses. According to the total deformation characteristics of the material, it is divided into two categories. As described below, Dongguan Yugood Hardware Co., Ltd. - a manufacturer of stamping parts, metal stamping parts, and metal stamping parts explained the five deformations of the stamping process and three aspects.
First, the main measures to reduce manufacturing costs:
1. Improve the level of engineering rationalization.
2. Improve the level of mold design, reduce the process, and increase the life of the mold.
3. Improve the automation and high-speed level of the stamping process and reduce the cost.
4. Simultaneously design the molds for each processing workpiece.
5. Reduce costs by improving material utilization.
Secondly, the stamping process is mainly divided into two categories according to the total deformation characteristics of the material.
1. Separation process: The material is subjected to external force, and the stress of the deformed part exceeds the strength limit of the material, and the sheet metal breaks.
2. Plastic deformation process: If the external force causes the stress in the deformed part to exceed the material yield limit, but does not reach the strength limit, the plate only generates a plastic deformation table to obtain a constant shape and size.
Thirdly, five kinds of transformation of stamping process.
1.3D press: redistribute volume, constant feed material, change blank shape or height thickness.
2. Bending: Change the flat sheet metal to bending parts to further change the bending shape. Bending, crimping, twisting, etc.
3. Rolling: Punch the flat blank into a hollow of the desired shape, or further change the size of the hollow.
4. Forming: Local deformation of various characteristics is flattened, changing the appearance of manufacturing or blanks. Ripple, flange, neck shrink, convexity, helix, and forming are forming deformations.
5. Trimming, blanking: to separate unclosed or unclosed material parts from other parts. These methods include blanking, punching, chamfering, breaking, sectioning and cutting.
